  Dear Marla,

Damn! This just isn't going to work.

I tried wearing 100% enclosure. It was OK for a day or so, but by the third day, I was having serious problems with my eyes. The sweat from my forehead leaks down onto them. It does not matter what type of headgear I use. If my head is covered, sweat is going to run down into my eyes. I can deal with it for an hour or two but rarely longer.

There's also the problem with my hair. I've lost a lot of things in my old age, but my hair isn't one of them. I still have a full head of rather thick, silvery hair that goes down to the middle of my back. That much hair does not do well when compressed in a latex hood while steeping in a salty solution of sweat for more that just a few hours. And, yes, I have even tried using a hood with a hole for a pony tail. Trying to fit my thick ponytail through that hole is challenging. The hair that is still inside does not fair well.

The shower-every-12-hours regimen helped refresh me but that also meant that I had to get past The Grind two times a day! It also meant that I had to work even harder to make up for the HITEz I would earned otherwise.

Just wearing my rubber all or most of the time is exhausting in itself. Wearing a hood for long periods just amplifies that.

I guess the 100%/100% dream is just a pipe dream.

Hey! Maybe a compromise might be to only wear latex from the neck down most of the time and reserving 'hood time' for
